Introducing our Trainee Social Media & PR Account Executive, Seren!

Hi, I’m Seren, and I’m delighted to be joining Team High Rise as a Trainee Social Media & PR Account Executive at High Rise Communications! I graduated with a First in Ba (Hons) Fashion Promotion from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2022, and since I have been working on furthering my career in the communications industry. During my time at university, I was able to receive the reputable opportunity of interning with global not-for-profit Fashion Revolution. It was during my time with Fashion Revolution where my love for working alongside charitable organisations and towards important causes truly blossomed.

Before beginning my role at High Rise, I had the amazing opportunity of being a social media assistant at renowned architecture magazine The Modernist. After having been a follower of the magazine for many years, my time at The Modernist was very insightful and only furthered my love for design, as well as print. 

What I will bring to the team …

I am so excited to get stuck into the many and varied projects at High Rise. I hope that I’ll be able to bring my artistic skills into the work that I produce, and I aim to channel this passion through innovative content on the High Rise social media, as well as for our clients. As a keen writer with a love for creative communications, I’m looking forward to learning more about the world of PR, and to develop my skills in this field. 

A little bit about me …

I’m originally from North Wales, and after moving up to Manchester for university in 2019, I knew this was the place for me! One of the many reasons I originally wanted to move to Manchester was because of its iconic music scene. Whether I’m at an electronic rave, a quiet gig in a small local bar, or putting on a vinyl at home; I love to spend my spare time listening to up-and-coming music as well as timeless classics.

I am also a big film fan, and class the cinema as my second home! My design background also means that I love a trip to a gallery, and I can often be found flicking through the pages of my ever-growing magazine collection.
