Welcoming our new Trainee Account Executive, Vicki
Earlier this week, we were thrilled to welcome our newest member of the High-Rise Communications team – Vicki Phillips. Vicki will be joining us as a Trainee Account Executive, working across content creation, media relations, client care and social media.
Having graduated from Loughborough University this summer with a History degree, Vicki began her search for a role within the public relations industry. Her strengths in written communication, and passion for doing work that does good in return, made Vicki an excellent signing for our small but growing team.
Not only has she already gathered a taste of the industry through her role as Features Editor of the Loughborough Students’ Union magazine, but she also held the position of Social Media Officer for HeadsUp, the student-led mental health association. She even went on to create her own blog to discuss prominent issues within the fields of mental health advocacy and gender studies.
Vicki will be working closely with our Account Manager, Laura Thomas, to become trained in strategic communications and assist with providing an excellent service to High-Rise’s range of clients from the charity, professional service, and technology sectors.
When discussing her new role, Vicki said: “It was a pleasure to be offered the role at High-Rise Communications, the company ethos struck just the right chord with me. I am extremely excited to see what opportunities this role offers me and look forward to making life-long connections in the industry.”
